BO IS 9 MONTHS OLD
I can't believe my little guy is 9 months old already. He is growing so fast and I just enjoy every minute of it. His little personality is SO sweet and we just couldn't love him more. Don't let his chubby cheeks fool you, he is only in the 10 percentile. I can't believe he will be a year in just 3 months. Oh how he has brought so much joy to our life!!

GOODBYE 2011, HELLO 2012

I can't believe 2011 is over, last year went by so fast, SO much happened. Alex and I moved downtown Salt Lake City, and I started working full-time at Sonobello, it was so fun and I loved the people I work with. Alex went to the U and loved it. Alex started his Myi business (which is i-phone accessories) and his recycling business (Greenteam Solutions), he has lots of motivation and is a defiantly going the entrepreneur route. Bo is such a good baby and we love him so much. It's funny how fast your world changes and how much of it revolves around him, but we wouldn't have it any other way. All the highlights of this year are Bo's milestones:) We moved back to Logan and it's been so nice living close to family, especially going to school full-time, we have had two amazing gma's to watch Bo. Bo is only 8 months and has been to Az, Ms, Las Vegas, and Mexico. Who would of thought a 6 month old needs a passport haha. Cortney had baby Leo and he is precious! Schofield left on his mission and we miss him so much, our family is not the same without him here, but he is were he is suppose to be. Here is to 2012 hopefully a happy and healthy year.

We had a nice relaxing trip to AZ which ended with my water breaking, this is the day before my water broke.

Of Course the highlight of our year is the birth of BO! It's amazing how much you love you have the second their born.

I got accepted to finish my RN at WSU/USU program. Alex is such a tropper to leave The U, I know he loved it there!

So Alex and I moved back to beautiful Cache Valley and it's been so nice to be close to family.

Alex, Bo, and I had the opportunity to go to Cancun, Mexico with his dad. It was so fun and we feel so blessed to of been able to tag along! Bo loved the water and loved being outside. We went to Xcaret one day and we even took Bo down one of the underground rivers haha the workers thought we were "loco" but I think he enjoyed it! Perfect way to end a crazy semester.

This semester has flown by, I guess thats a good thing when you are in school but.... it's sad because Bo is growing so fast and I just want to cherish every day. I wish I was better at documenting all the cute pictures I have, its a good new years goal to have. These are just some random pictures and things we have been doing the last few months....

Bo got blessed two weeks ago during Schofield's farewell. It was a special day, Alex gave a beautiful blessing. Schofield gave a wonderful talk and it was so nice Bo got to share his special day with him. It's always so fun to see family and get together. Ruelinda saved the outfit Alex was blessed in so Bo got to wear it. He looked very handsome and it was so fun to compare pictures of them both in their outfits. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. Thanks everyone for coming. We love you.

Future Missionary.

We took Schofield to the MTC this week. The curbside drop off was not very fun:( They changed the rules at the MTC a little bit. Instead of going in with your missionary, you just drop them off on the curb and thats that. The Dunkley's let us borrow their 10 seater van so we could all ride together which made it very nice. Schofield will be serving in the Fort Worth, Texas mission. Good luck Elder Smith.

We finally got to go to Mississippi. It was my grandpa's 80th birthday a couple weeks ago. My family surprised him and flew out to Mississippi. He had no idea we were coming, alex showed up on his door step with Bo and said "We need a place to stay." My grandpa being the nice person he is said "well come on in." He thought alex was a JW (jehovah's witness) as they visit him often. It was so funny. The entire Smith side was able to make it to his big party on saturday. It was the first time we have all been together for over 14 years. It was so fun to hang-out with all our cousins and get to know them. I wish we lived closer to each other and tickets to gulf port weren't so expensive.:( I love love Mississippi. It's crazy because even though hurricane Katrina was 6 years ago their is still so much damage from it. I can't imagine being there when it happened. We had so much fun on saturday celebrating his birthday at my uncles house. We swam, fished, ate, played games, had a slip n slide, and even a pinata. I can't wait to see them all again, hopefully it wont be 14 plus years.

Every year Alex and I look forward to going to Lake Powell. I have to say this is probably my most favorite place on earth. Both of our families went this year again and we had so much fun! It always makes me sad when we have to leave because it's pretty much like our summer is over now until next year:(

Something funny about him is he doesn't really cry ever, he just grunts. He is a grunter. He started rolling over which makes me nervous now to leave him on the bed. I can't believe how fast time has already gone, I just want him to stay little forever:)

Schofield graduated from high school, another reason I feel old. He also got his mission call to Texas and will be leaving September 21, 2011. We are so excited for him but will miss him so much.

Well we moved to Logan.......I will be finishing my RN through the WSU/USU program at Utah State and alex will be finishing his degree at Utah State as well. It was sad to leave:( I loved living downtown salt lake. The location we was right by everything, we loved it. Bo and I enjoyed walking to the gateway. I will be so sad to leave my job at Sonobello, hopefully I can still work there once a week. I do have to say though, it's very nice to live by our family especially with the help they are with the baby.

Okay, I am horrible at English. I hate writing and I have always been terrible with grammar. Math, science, or even biology I can master, but I have never been good at english. FYI I am going to just write this just like I would in my journal, so I apologize now for all the mistakes and errors.:) Ever since I started blogging I stopped keeping a journal so I figure its better to have mistakes than not to keep up on it. Sorry to all those english majors. So this is the crazy story of how little Bo was born.

Alex and I decided we needed to go on one last "getaway" before the baby came, he had just finished school and I really needed a break from work. We decided to go to Arizona for a couple days and our good friends Talisha and Bracken joined us. It was our last day and we were about the fly out 2 hours later when my water broke. I was getting out of the pool and I felt a gush of water. I thought "wow my swimsuit was holding a lot of water" then I felt another gush so I ran to the bathroom. I thought, did I loose bladder control already?...haha Alex was cleaning the windows and I yelled for him to come to the bathroom. He got on all fours and looked up and we still couldn't decide if I was peeing or if my water really broke. Because it was not what I expected it to be like when my water broke. I called my mom frantically and asked her how your suppose to know when your water breaks and before I knew it we were at some hospital in downtown Phoenix.

I was so scared because the doctor I had really got to know in SLC was so WONDERFUL, and I was dead set on him delivering the baby. I was only 35 weeks so I was so worried about his lungs being developed and just being premature. I told my mom to leave the house right than and my dad could buy her a ticket on her way down to the airport. Lucky for me she arrived with my sister Carly about 3 hours later and Ruelinda was able to make it shortly after.

That night they started me on Cervidil which "ripens" your cervix to prepare it for birth. Unfortunately it fell out while I was going to the bathroom. I was starting to feel contractions through out the night but nothing to much. At about 3AM the nurse started me on Pitocin (Oxytocin) which is a synthetic hormone that forces your body to go into labor. I don't know if anyone has had experience with it but they make your contractions way more painful than if your body was just going into labor naturally. I started to feel the contractions right away but when they slowed it down, I stopped feeling them all together. Pretty much... my body wasn't in labor and the Pitocin was just forcing me to have contractions. They kept turning up the dosage higher and higher, I had SO many different doctors coming in and out of my room as the hours went on. One man in particular told me that I might have to have a C-section if my body didn't go into labor and they were almost at the maximum dosage. I was SO mad I didn't want a c-section. I had made up my mind I was not going to get an epidural tell I knew my body was in labor. I also kept asking the nurse if I should have it and she was telling me I shouldn't because than ill be paralyzed to the bed and blah blah.

Well, the pain just keep getting worse and worse and WORSE. It felt like a HUGE charlie horse throughout my whole body. Poor alex the pain got so bad I threw up on him two different times as he held the garbage can. Finally I couldn't take it anymore and I told the nurse I needed the epidural ASAP. The anesthesiologist came in and by that point my contractions were a minute a part. It was tricky for him to do it in between contractions because I couldn't stay still. The nurse didn't checked me alot because when your water breaks it puts you at risk for infection so they check you only when its mandatory. The epidural took the "edge" off you could say, but I still felt every contraction and even the catheter when the nurse put it in. The doctor came in for 2 minutes and said she still thought it was going to be the next day when I would have the baby. Then all of sudden I felt the WORST pressure like I was going to poo my pants. So I told alex to get the doctor, she checked me and I was at a 9 1/2. She was in shock and started getting everything ready for me to push. I went from a 3 to a 9 1/2 in 20 minutes and the baby was born about 30 minutes later. She had to put lidocaine to numb me because I could still feel everything.

Well it was the biggest relief in the whole world when he came out. Being he was only 35 weeks, there was about 20 people in the room just in case something went wrong. There were a few neonatologist, residents, medical students, and doctors. After they assessed him they said he was perfectly fine and he could stay with his parents. Alex and I felt so blessed everything went so well and our little Bo didn't have any problems. It really is such a miracle and was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. All of you who haven't had kids yet have SO much to look forward too:) We love him so much and he is already our EVERYTHING! Thanks for all your prayers and support, we can't wait for everyone to meet him!!

I finally got to meet baby Deegan when Hay came to visit, he is the cutest thing ever, I just love him!

A couple Sundays ago Alex and I showed up at church and it was all locked up and no one was there, we figured it had to be stake conference since we had missed the sunday before. We saw a bunch of people walking into the old tabernacle so we headed over there and "Music and the Spoken Word" was about to begin. It was beautiful, I highly recommend going if you have never been. Its every sunday at 9:30am and I know they broadcast it live.

Alex is SO SWEET, he got me a pedicure set and gave me a pedicure with it. It was so nice, he did such a good job.

He went through all the steps and remembered the massage which felt amazing!

He even painted them at the end:) I'm a lucky girl.

I can't believe it's already April. The last few months have flown by, I started working full time at Sonobello and Alex has been really busy with school. It's crazy to think in two months we will have a baby. There is a lot we need to do before he comes haha, sometimes I wish we could just stop the clock and catch up but I'm sure everybody feels that way sometimes.

A NEW YEAR....

Alex and I hit our big 1 year mark (more like 1 week it felt like) and we stayed at hotel park city:) Im so mad at myself for not taking any pictures!!!

For Halloween Alex, Talisha, Bracken, and I dressed up as polygamist. Bracken was Warren Jeffs and Talisha, Alex, and I were the sister wifes.

I justified not writing in my jounral anymore, claiming that this blog would be my new journal of our life but......I have been a big slacker and probably should still write in my journal. So much has happened in the last few months, I finished my LPN, we moved to SLC and alex became a UTE:), we found out a BIG surprise, and enjoyed all my favorite holidays. Time is flying by and I really need to be better at documenting things. One of my new year goals:) But I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and here's to 2011!!!:)

Last Saturday Alex, Carly, Blake, Ryan, Melanie, and I particapated in the"Dirty Dash," a 10K (6 miles) of dirt and oppstacles. It was up at solider hollow in Midway and when alex showed me a picture of the course it didn't look that hard but let me tell you, it was straight up the mountain, its the first race I have ever walked in, and I walked a lot! haha we all dressed up as the "Mud Fairies" which ended up being way umcomfortable by the last mile! We had a great time though and I highly recommend it to everyone, who doesn't love playing in mud:)

Carly talked Alex and I into doing the Bear Lake Triathlon, little did we know what we were getting ourselves into until we realized we were the only ones without wet suits and the only "first timers" haha but it was still tons of fun!

These were our wanna be "wet suits" so we looked like we fit in a little:) That rash guard just slowed me down, what a joke, next time we will be more prepared!!

After the triathlon we celebrated Lexi, Scho, and my Dad's birthday. Lexi and my Dad were born Aug. 30th and Scho was born Aug. 29. I can't believe he is 18! This time next year he will have his mission call!!:( My mom planned a lot of fun games from when we were little! It was pretty fun and entertaining.

Jess is married!!!! It was a beautiful day and she was a beautiful bride!

The winter before I got married Jess, Tara, and I went to this party at USU, and this band (Wasatch Back) was playing and we had so much fun dancing to them after it was over we asked if they played at weddings. Well they gave us their pick and I ended up saving it. They played at my wedding and they ended up playing at Jess's, hopefully they will play at Tara's as well! So Fun!

This was at Jessica's bridal shower, instead of playing "make the wedding dress" we played "make the first night lingire" thanks to my wonderful husband for the idea:) I highly recommend it!:)

My grandma rented a big cabin in Bear Lake and it had the most beautiful view of the lake, we had so much fun swimming, playing games, and just chilling on the deck. Alex and I have always had a close relationship with her since we both pretty much lived with her in 2006 haha.

Alex's friend from the mission "elder Ricks" got married in the SLC temple on saturday, it was a beautiful.

There was 62 weddings that day, and 92 next Saturday, CRAZY.

For those of you who know my dad know he has gone on about 100 diets and I have taken about 100 before pictures for him. Last weekend he got Alex to join his "diet" I have taken many many before pictures but haven't taken any after.......yet. He isn't really even overweight but I give him credit for trying haha.

Over the 24th of July Alex's grandpa took us to the spanish fork fiesta days rodeo, it was sweet, they even had a performance from the wild child (this dare devil that jumps trailers on his dirt bike). Straight after that we drove to lake powell. Lexi didn't get to go with us in June because of Caprielles so she came this time. Alex's cousins Kelsey, Kiley, Cole, and his friend came along with Taya and her family. Lexi tried wake boarding for the first time and got up on her first try and so did Kelsey. The water was so nice, we drove over to Good Hope Bay and the water was glass the entire day, I think it might be my new favorite spot. We sure love lake powell.

We went to lake powell the end of june with my family and Alex's family. It was so fun, we found the perfect spot and even got my dad and alex's dad on the tube together. It was so great having both our families there. We even got bit by fish, it was crazy that has never happened before, the fish must be hungry this year. Right after we rushed to Ouray, Colorado to meet my extended family for the fourth of July. Every year they have a 10k race for the fourth, my whole family decided to enter in this year. It was fun but the last half was straight uphill, I think it should be considered a half marathon because it was just as hard:).

Alex and I got to go to his mission companions wedding at the Manti temple, the temple was beautiful, its definitely one of my favorites. Alex spent 6 months with him and sure loves him. We are so happy for them.

Alex and I ran the half marathon last weekend up in Bear Lake. About three weeks ago we decided to do it with Taya and started training. Last minute we talked Carly into running to the 10k with Blake (Tessas husband), it was her birthday:)! The farthest alex and I ran before the race was 10 miles and I thought those extra 3 would be cake but I am not going to lie, those last 3 seemed like 20. Alex got 3rd place in his age group and got another medal!! I was so PROUD of him! I keep teasing him he should try the Iron Man next!!;)

One of my best friends that I have literally traveled the world with got married last weekend! She looked gorgeous!! Her wedding turned out beautiful!!

One of Alex's companions from his mission weddings was at Thanksgiving Point, it was beautiful and the tulips outside were so pretty.

Brain Bott's wedding was in April, this was one of Alex's best friends growing up!

The last few months have been busy as ever with weddings. It seems like, Alex and I have driven to Logan almost every weekend! This last weekend it was Brock Reeds, it was beautiful.

On the way home alex and I stopped at Hoover Dam, the new bridge they are building is HUGE! It's a perfect place to go bungee jumping!:)

Alex and I have been so busy the last 5 months with school. We have spent many many nights at the library. Its nice to finally be done and able to catch up. A couple weeks ago we went to St. George to celebrate Alex's grandma 80th birthday and mother's day. It was fun to hang-out with all the family, on saturday Brad surprised everyone with massages and facials and I was able to tag along even though I am not a mother yet:)! After that we drove straight to Arizona to help Alex's parents move into their new house.

Alex and I went on our honeymoon to Cancun, we stayed at The Royal. It was so fun, it was a all-inclusive resort. The food was so good and we had fun ordering fries and cheesecake at 1 am:). We went to X-hal one day and yes finally my dreams came true and we were able to swim with dolphins. It was so sweet, we had so much fun! The weather of course was so nice everyday, except the one day we went to the water park, but thats how it goes I guess! We can't wait to go back one day. We were of course sad to come home.

Yes, Alex Popped the question and we are a little late posting the details! But we are all thrilled as we love Cami! They have known each other for years! She has been a great support and influence on Alex and we can't wait to have her be part of our family! No.....he didn't wait long! The night he reported his Mission after most everyone had gone home he took her to the Providence Elementary School....the first place he said he ever saw her! The went for a little swing! The whole family was there(Hiding)....nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles and cousins, Yes it was a family affair!!!!! It was so much fun and we got it all on film! And Cami was so surprised! She just did not expect it to happen so soon! But we couldn't be happier! Alex had written the cutest little things about Cami and how much he loved her, and why one on each rose, each "little" family member brought them out one by one and handed them to Cami, in the end she got the ring and she was of course soooo happy! Soooo now the Wedding is being planned! Yea! We couldn't be happier!

How are you?? You both sound so happy?? Don't be sad!! I am so HAPPY!!! we had an amazing week!!! I love this work!! It's so amazing!!! At church we had our BEAUTIFUL AFRICAN SISTERS!! haha I love em so much! Grand, her mother, Naomi, Jackie, Lilly & zack!! There should be 5 baptisms on the 5th of September!!! Wahoo!!! I love it!! Grand & her family are from Malowi---Grand has such a solid testimony!!! She was healed from leprosy by some elders in Scotland! But has never been baptized because she was living with her partner! She is so amazing---She came teaching with us the other day---she's not even a member! But She knows that this is the only TRUE & LIVING CHURCH of our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!!! Her family is so sweet! They are some of the nicest people in the world! I love 'em! Pray for them! Zack is 16 years old & just caught up in a bad crowd! We're working on him---he's gonna be fine! The Gospel has already changed his life-- He's a leader---his friends all look to him--but Satan wants to destroy him! Thats alright---we always win the battle! WE have our SAVIOR!---Lilly is the daughter of a recent convert! She's the same story! about 15---bad friends!! But a heart of gold!! If there is anything I can say---I just love these people so much! The Lord loves them!!! I just pray for their happiness & success. I have such a testimony that the Lord is preparing people! They are everywhere! We met Lynda Duffin yester day :) She is amazing!!! I can't tell you how many times we have been blessed to hear words like these "I know the Lord sent you two here today" "Its so good to know that there is truth..& I can have it!" --Naomi & Grand asked if their baptisms could be Last Saturday!!! Ha--- I love it!!

The Baptism was amazing!! I took loads of pictures!! But you're going to have to wait to see them!!! Sorry I lost my camera cord!! Thank you so much for emailing nobu!!! She is so good!!! She bought me the nicest gifts! I love her! Please just keep in touch with her until I can do it myself! Thank you so much!! She is in Africa until mid-August! I will get the gifts to the Rubery's!! Thank you for taking care of School! You are amazing! I need to get signed up for institute! I don't need anything special!! I'm fine!! I don't even think I will get a suit! I know you want to help!! But I am doing fine!! Serious----I feel sick that time is going by-I don't even want to think about it! Aaahh! I am not going to lie---we are crazy!! I am doing so good!!! Yesterday we met this amazing family---the "Woolcocks" --the Spirit just led us there! The mother was struggling big time with her kids--She had a disabled little boy who was about 4 years old---You could just see her love for him! And her want for him to be able to walk again! We read from the Book of Mormon with her and had a kneeling prayer---The Spirit was amazing! She was crying----I love her!! I wish I could just explain to you the Love I feel for MY parents!! I love you and Dad so much......The past few weeks have just helped me to see things so differently---I know the love that you have for me! I am so sorry for not recognizing that! I love you both so much! I wish you knew!! I know that our Father in Heaven loves us so much!!! Beyond Comprehension!!! It is love that motivates & drives us! THE PURE LOVE OF CHRIST!!! I pray that I may be able to help other to feel of that love!! I love these people so much!!! They are amazing. I love MY SAVIOR!!! and all that he has done for me!!! The work is going great!!! I love it! We had another amazing week! This weekend we have the Baptism of Rachel Walsh. She is completing the family of 6!! She is amazing! a bit of a struggle with the word of wisdom! But I wish you could see the change in her countenance. It is truly amazing!!! She asked me to baptize her! It's been a while since I've been in the water....Oh baby I'm excited!!! I'm so grateful for her--she has just fortified my testimony of the basics! READING & PRAYER!!! It is everything!!! EVERYTHING! I love it! I will never miss a day!! There are quite a few others we are working with that have baptismal dates---Jodi, Dani, Carol, Mark, Luke, Andrew, Zack, Mark D., Slovic,----We've got English, African, Bulgarian... I love it! The members are helping loads....We've reactivated an awesome Indian kid named ANOOP---His parents are strong converts...Anoop is 17--I hate to say it, but he's alot like me when I was 17---I love him! His parents just want whats best for him! He has the sweetest mom! We invited him to come teaching with us! He loved it!! He was just beamin' afterwards...I think it was the first time he has bore his testimony in 5 years. His parents were thrilled as well.... It made my whole day---I really feel like we helped him out. I love the Youth! They are the future!---we often stand in the streets and just teach the Gospel to 10-15 people. Loads of kids listen. I'm telling you Dad---This is the greatest work in the World!! I know that the Lord is just preparing people everywhere! But he wants the best of the best! He wants His elect! We're find them everywhere. People know us on the streets! The members are strengthing their commitments as well! We pray with anyone! Anywhere! Anytime!!! We met Slovic in an elevator---taught him the Gospel & prayed with him---it was beautiful!! I know that I am a Disciple of Jesus Christ!!! I'm doing my best not to talk!! But to simply just Teach & Testify to everyone!! It is amazing! I know that the people see it in our eyes! They feel the Spirit every time we Bear Testimony! Every time we read from that Beautiful BOOK!!!!!!!! I can't wast a minute!! I'm so grateful for every person I get to speak with each day! I just want you to know!! THAT HE LIVES! That he loves us!!! I am so grateful for my Savior! I cannot deny the miracles that I have seen in peoples lives. It hasn't been too busy with Zone Conference! But it was a change of pace. Its going to be great though. A lot of member involvement! Thank you for the Tesco!!!! YOU ARE AMAZING!!! Its funny you got on Elder Davidson's Blog!! I love him, seriously! HE is one of my best friends! I love our flat!!! I've never felt such unity!! I am so glad you heard from Nobu!! she saved up so much money to take the kids to DisneyLand in Paris---She visited Coventry!!! she came to church!! And brought me all of these gifts!!! Oh man she is so sweet!! I gave her the money that Grandpa sent!!! She was so grateful! She said that she would no be able to celebrate Rumbi's Birthday with the DISNEY CHARACTERS!! I know it sounds little!! But---they have nothing!!! Oh they are so sweet!!! She said everything is just taken care of now that she pays tithing!! I could tell you countless stories---countless experiences that have occurred over the past weeks....I KNOW THAT THIS IS GOD'S WORK!!!! Mom & Dad--- The Lord is preparing people!!! We are teaching & testifying to every living creature!! I have seen miracles!!! I have seen the Spirit touch hearts instantly as we have shared our glad message!!! I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!! I LOVE MY BROTHERS & SISTERS!!

Wow--I'm back... I can't even explain to you how I feel!! Transfers was amazing. I love each of those missionaries!!! I was just beamin though! Man, I'm in tears because of the Gratitude that I feel... I am with Elder Newbury from Springville.... He is a beast! Testimony of a giant---I love HIm!!! We're serving in Coventry!! It's beautiful---just Disneyland for Missionaries:) We live with the DL Elder Davidson & his new greenie Elder Smith from Powell Wyoming!!! All I can say is that God is good... We have already been working! I've got about 3 minutes! But just know that I love you!!! I don't think I have ever felt this happy!! WE ARE GOING TO BAPTIZE LIKE CRAZY!!! Its going to be beautiful!!! I have had an amazing week! I am so happy you got to meet everyone! you are usually detailed?? I heard that there were some apostles there?? You met Cox?? Reese & Storey?? Was It packed?? I just love them all. I envy you for the chance to be in there company! What did they speak on?? Give me the dodge!...anyways that is great! Those are my people! My brothers & sisters! I can't describe my love for them!! Be safe in Powell...Have fun w/ Elder Ricks! I'll see him once more before he leaves! He is great! He's an amazing missionary!
Wow...I wish I could express to you how I feel right now! The mission has exploded. We are going to shatter the record for Baptisms in a single transfer. The Lord is just handing it to us! I can't even describe how grateful I am! On that note....I was interviewed by President Ogden Tuesday night. He expressed his gratitude for my service...then he said "...there are people waiting to hear your voice...there are people who are waiting for you to teach them the gospel...go and baptize!" WAHOO!!!!!!!!! I'm going out in the field!! Oh man!!! I have never felt so bitter sweet!I love these missionaries! I love my calling! I have never learned so much! I have never felt the hand of the Lord so strongly! I have never felt so guided & directed by his Spirit, as I have spent these 7 1/2 months. And I am going out in a ball of flames baby! I can't wait to hit the streets! I have had so many sacred spiritual experiences over these past few days--just confirming my call to go back into the field. I can't say anything more. This is the Lord's work! I know it!! I know that GOD wants me out there! I have never felt so good about something! I cannot wait! I can't wait to just WORK! WORK! WORK! Hey Dad--
The mission is doing well. It sounds like things at home are going good. Still working in Idaho? I hope you're not lonely up there. Too bad Easton broke his arm...he'll be fine. I'm excited for you to meet the Deardon's today...They are a great family. Thanks for taking the time to meet with them. Let them know how grateful I am for their example. President Dearden is the best Stake President we have. He'll be a Seventy. I look up to him.
You mentioned the firm is doing well. I know that it is because of you! God has blessed you with so much talent and ability. I never realized how many people respected you and looked to you. Looking back--I realize how many people expected great things from me because they knew you! YOU ARE THE BEST AT WHAT YOU DO! There is no one better. Look at where you have come from. Count those blessings. Dad, you truly are amazing, take some time to look at how the Lord has shaped your life & life of those around you. I am proud of you. I want to share some thoughts with you. The past few months, the Mission has exploded. The Lord has poured out his Spirit here in this area. I can't explain the miracles I have seen. Often times I feel we are running on a treadmill---pushing as hard as be can, but not actually covering any ground. The toughest thing for me is not being out in the field...Dad, it kills me. I know that the Lord has called me here for a reason--but sometimes I feel down because we don't get to find, teach & baptize like the rest of the mission. I love the exchanges, I love being out there in the field, Sharing the Gospel! There is nothing more fulfilling! Nothing more satisfying. President shared a thought with us from the title page of the Book of Mormon; he listed the several purposes of the Book of Mormon listed there. Then he emphasized this "...Which is to show unto the remnant of the House of Israel what great things the Lord hath done for their fathers.. " He spoke about our fathers...those who have gone before us. He spoke about past spiritual experiences that brought meaning to us. The scriptures are in a sense, a journal kept by former prophets. He asked us to ponder upon our previous experiences. When we get down, we need to look at what the Lord has done for us. I've been doing that lately. Dad, I have seen miracles. I have seen the hand of the Lord touch the hearts of 100's of investigators & missionaries. I have been blessed to receive direct revelation beneficial for the success of this mission. I have been blessed to share many of the tools & techniques that brought me success--with the missionaries here. This is the highest baptizing mission in Europe. Phone calls from other Mission Presidents are frequent. Always inquiring on the success. We have the best missionaries in the world, I wish you could see them in action. Its beautiful. President Ogden asked "how?" "WHY?" about 30 times in the first 3 days he was here. We told him! IT IS THE LORD'S WORK! WE DO IT HIS WAY! I know I have been so blessed Dad. I know that the Lord has prospered me and everyone one of these missionaries as we have been obedient to the commandments which the Lord has given us. The Lord works through his children. I want you to know that I trust him. I look to Him in ALL things! Whenever I am lacking faith or feeling down...I will remember the things that the Lord has done for my fathers and myself!! I have been so good. It has been a great week. I love it. I'm glad you spoke to Pres. Deardon, He is awesome. Get used to the fast speech! Thats how I talk! You slow Americans... It sounds like you had a good time in the NYC??? Thats good! Tell Shanna & the kids hi for me. We had awesome time with interviews. I think Sister Ogden is tired but they are both doing great! I am exhausted, but I feel great. I can't really explain how I feel lately. Its crazy how much the President influences everything...haha I am a lot happier...but I don't feel like I am accomplishing so much. Its tough to explain, we just don't have as much focus and direction. President Ogden is amazing. Man--he is so in tune with the Spirit. Every time he speaks it just leaves an imprint on your soul! He was speaking about some personal matters with the missionaries...(as far as he knows, they are all angels)...there is a missionary who has struggled with homesickness for about 8 months. He had no clue...He told us he felt impressed to ask "why did the Lord send you to England?" "I don't know"--the missionary replied. Then started crying and he gave them a blessing of faith & comfort. He said, "I never felt impressed to ask anyone else that question"...There have been tons of stories like that. The missionaries love him, everytime I get off the phone with him...I just feel better about myself. He loves the Elders & Sisters, He spends loads of time with each of them...He is the man! I know he's called of God! Give Sister Moffat a hug for me. Tell her that I love her!!!!! I miss her. Just thank the Moffats, Please, thats All I want you to do! Just thank them....let them know the blessing they have been in my life! I would not be here without them. I am eternally grateful for them!

Hey Dad-
The change has gone smoothly. It was sad to see the Moffats leave. I love them both, I think they were numb to it all. Great changes are going to take place. You'll have to tell Trevi that I miss her and love her too! It sounds like you have quite a few kids up there.
The stress has numbed me. President Moffat gave me an amazing blessing before he left...He mentioned 'peace and confidence' about 10 times. Its true as well, I've been such a grouch the past couple weeks. I don't think its hit me yet. But Elder Brower and I are carrying the proselyting side of the mission. We have not accounted with him once yet. Everything is on our backs, man, I've had to be the bad guy in a few cases. I'm constantly reminded that leadership is not a position of pleasing the natural man. The mission is steadily increasing key indicators...the Lord will bless us.
President Ogden is great. We have had a few meetings. I've learned loads. He is a man of great faith. I know why he is so good. He loves everyone he serves--I've never felt so involved. I'm sure it's the case with any new mission President, but this guy is handwriting replies to the missionary letters in answer to their questions. I think he may have memorized the names already by their pictures. He is a man of God. He will take the mission to new heights. I can't wait! we have been able to go finding loads! Oh man, we've been teaching alot more as well. I just want to baptize. I'm getting office fever!! But I'll be fine! I know that the Lord has called me here for a reason, I realize the responsibility that I have. I do not fear it! I am excited, confident and ready to face this challenge. I can't wait to see what these next few weeks will entail. I know that the Lord is with us right now. He is carrying this mission. And He will continue to bless us as long as we stay true to him and work with all of our heart, might, mind and strength! I'm so grateful to be here. I hope you are doing well Dad! I love you! How are you?? I'm doing great! It was an exciting week! I'm glad you spoke to Sister Ogden, I think she likes you. She's sweet. It sounds like you are having fun in Bear Lake? The Ogdens are Great...they must be rich...but he is the man. I'm not kidding, he is so spiritual. The missionaries are going to love him. He is so good, he's like Grandpa Jack. He includes us on every little thing. He is happy and kind! He has so much FAITH in the Lord.. Man you should hear him pray--I thought the Heavens were going to open. I am so happy, I am so comforted. Its scary how comfortable and confident I feel. I was telling Dad, I know my responsibility, but I know that the Lord is just helping us with everything. It hasn't been easy but I am so calm and comforted...I can't explain. There must be a lot of prayers for our behalf...wow and I just read that part of your email...so there are alot of prayers! We're jumping right into interviews this week. Haha, Brower, & President and Sister Ogden don't know what they've gotten themselves into....:) but they'll love their beds after this week! I'll be taking them on the most enduring week of their lives...its going to be great! (President and sister Moffat celebrated with apple cider and wine glasses for their last interviews!) We're headed to every zone except for Cardiff & Merthyr. We will be focusing on chapter 11 from PMG!!! Especially BOLDNESS! No more wussies! No more buttering up the Gospel! Hi Mom and Dad,
We hare having a great Saturday! We just called by a lady named Sally this morning! Her mom freaked out on us when she answered the door! She told us that her 30 year old daughter was not going to be brainwashed!! It was pretty funny...Its amazing the change that takes place in 5 minutes when you teach her the gospel and bear testimony. She softened up and listened...she'll come tomorrow. It sounds like dad is busy in Idaho? Sorry dad, i'd help you if I could. I hope you're being safe! I'm sorry you've had a bad day mom...you ran out of gas?? I'm glad your ok!
It sounds like the economy is going crazy....thats too bad...the Lord's work always moves forward!:) Before I forget to write this: tell grandpa and grandma Nixon that I love them so much! They are such great examples.Give grandma a hug and tell her I'll take care of her when I get home. Tell grandpa Jack to keep going. He's the man...I know He'll work to the death! You know he trusts the Lord so much, thats all that matters... just let him go. Remember--the turtle won the race! I love them both, I wish I could just express how grateful I am for them. They have taught me so much. Tell them that they are in my prayers. Thats good Jace is catching on. I'm so excited for him.
I don't know how you hear everything Mom!...it has been a crazy week...I'm worried about the missionaries... They seem to be taking a backseat. I feel like the mean guy now. It feels like I have to set everyone strait. The Zone Conferences were great. I cried like a little girl. The missionaries are anxious...the change is going to be good. At the end of every zone conference...we stood as we sang 'God be with you til we meet again'. You can tell...President and Sister Moffat are sad. I can't imagine how it would be to stand in their shoes. It is bitter-sweet for them...Sister moffat described it as giving away her children. She told everyone that her favorite thing was to see the growth in the missionaries as the months go on. Their testimonies were great. The past few days have been like a dream... I've never felt so much trust from President. Man, I'm feeling the weight. Keep me and the missionaries in your prayers. Zone Conference was great. It was on chapter 11 commiting skills. We introduced the commitment pattern and had them apply it in a game. Each zone had to use the principles they learned to get FIRST: into the door SECOND: in the teaching situation THIRD: Projecting for baptism at the font on sunday. It was so much fun. The ZL's dressed up like chavs and acted like investigators. The missionaries learned loads...so did I! Man, I realized that alot of missionaries are not BOLD! I'm sure that will be the focus this next transfer. It kills me. They are great missionaries, they all of testimonies! They are just afraid of people...we'll sort them out.
I am sorry for rambling. I want to express my gratitude for the Moffats. I love both of them. They are my second parents. And they remind me so much of both of you and Dad. President lays the hard hand, some missionaries get offended of hurt by it, but they don't understand how much he loves them and wants them to succeed. He relies on the Lord, and his example has an impact on everyone he comes in contact with. I don't recall seeing him make a mistake. He's the hardest worker in the mission. I can't describe the impact he has had on me...its changed my life. I know that he is called of God. Sister Moffat...she's the sweetest thing. I don't think she has a down day! She is always smiling. I wish you could see her at a zone conference as well...she's like a busy little bee. She doesn't stop moving around...she makes it all happen. I think being a mission president's wife is one of the toughest callings in the chruch...she is tired. But her attitude is always so good. she loves us like her own. I am so grateful for her example and everything she has done! It kills me to see them leave, I will miss them. This email is getting too long...I am anxious..not scared. This is going to be a big week. I want you to know how excited I am. I know that this is the Lord's work. I can't say that enough...This mission will continue to move forward. Happy Father's Day!!!!!!! It sounds like there is a party going on today. I hope you are having a good time. It sounds like you are enjoying being the High Priests' teacher. I'm sure you are learning more than they are--that is one of the greatest blessings of being a teacher.
I know that today will be a busy day for you. I will keep it short. Dad- You are my hero. I say that sincerely. I know you think I'm super sensative, but its only because I care so much about what you think. I want you to be proud. I know that if I can be 50% of what you have become, I will be successful. I cannot thank you enough for the lessons that I have learned from you. I know you never pushed me to come on a mission. But you have always encouraged me. I don't know how hard you work, but I have had a glimpse. I thank you for that. I know that you love me, I know that you want the best for me. I will always look to you for guidance. I was going to mention your birthday...but it's rude so speak about a woman's age....HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Oh man we're busy. But the week has been great. We have zone conferences all of next week. We have the best activities planned as well--oh baby I'm so excited! We've been on exchanges the past few days. I have just been having so much fun! I feel like an old man in the mission. But its doing so well--you should have seen the goals we set for this transfer. Zone Leader council was just inspiring. The missionaries visions have changed. The Lord is pouring out his Spirit. Elder ______phoned President Moffat almost in tears and told him to thank his missionaries!! Missions in Spain & Italy have had Zone Conferences about our mission and the success. Dear Sister Bearnson,

I just thought I would drop you a line and tell you how well Elder
Bearnson is doing. Tues. we had transfers and he is staying in the
office as an Assistant. He is now the lead Assistant with Elder
Brower. I think Elder Bearnson is a little nervous with such a big
responsibility but we have all the faith in the world in him. Elder
Cox trained him well and you can just see the mantle of this call fall
upon him. He will be the one training the new mission president and
his wife - a critical job for the assistants. I am grateful for his
common sense, humor, leadership, vision of the work, love of the
gospel and love of the Savior. He will take on any task and do it
well. The missionaries love him and he loves the them. Your family

Hey Dad-
Thanks for the email. Elder Cox's Parents came on Wednesday. He is still around for the week. I spoke to him this morning. I'm missin him a bit. but the change has been good. Transfers went smoothly, but man I'm feeling it. Yesterday we had our transfer planning session--It hit me that the Moffats leave in two weeks...thats a humbling thought. These are the times when I recognize the Lord's help the most. I'm restless. But things will be fine. Today should be the Highest baptizing week in History...The Lord is taking care of us. It sounds like you've received the rain that we missed out on. It's beautiful, I'm sweating in this internet cafe! Alex's Letters are getting shorter and less informative! I hope we continue to get an email! I did however have a nice handwritten note from him when I got home from Arizona yesterday. He is quite amazing! I am pretty proud of him! He talked about how important it is to him to be able to serve others especially the missionaries, and just how much he loves them. He also said he wished I could be there to see him because he knew that I as a Mom would be proud of him! I really don't need to be there to see him to be proud! I know the kind of Missionary he is! It is great to get his weekly email's, it will be sad when they come to an end

DAD:
The mission is doing well! May was the highest baptizing month on record...It's tough because we go in cycles. The mission is rebuilding again. I had my last interview with President Moffat. He leaves on the 1st......man this is going to be an adventure. President basically told me the mission is on my shoulders for a few weeks. He's scared--this is his baby. I'm excited for change. After six months of the same thing---it feels lathargic. I'm sure that I will learn and grow loads. If I seem a bit lost--you'll understand why.
You'll have to tell Taya and Ryan congrats. Tell Trevi I love her! I'm sure they appreciate your help. Be safe!

Mom-
You're going to be mad...Tesco's never came. Don't they have my mobile?? 07800614602......We will be home on monday night for sure! Don't stress!!!Thank you mom!! Did sister cable email you that picture yesterday?? That's when she took it!! We had so much fun in Cardiff. I love Elder White. He's the man. I'm glad President Dearden emailed you. It's probably a hassle for both of you! But he is amazing! I just want you to meet is family. I'm glad to hear that Kaden is doing good! Please tell him to stop sending all of the punjabi's over here...:) JK...they make up for about 25% of the baptisms. I bet Kaden is doing awesome over there. Man, he is so lucky...just tell him to treasure every second. We are so lucky to be a part of this work.

This past week has gone well. We were on the road all week! We travelled from leicester to cardiff. It was awesome. For interviews we reviewed everyone's area books. Wow...gained a testimony of this tool the Lord has given us. The Longer I am out, the more I realize how simple the work is. Often times we overcomplicate it! But If we do the small things (area book) the Lord will help us! The past few weeks have been tough! I hate not having anyone to teach in our area. Last night we had an awesome experience! We were street contacting in Erdington and met a Nigerian guy named George. We taught George The Restoration. After we taught, he just started thanking us for coming. He told us that he has been searching for help! He said : 'I have fasted and prayed for blessings, I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I have no girlfriend, I don't go clubbing....I have been attending a baptist church for 9 months...They want me to be baptized on the 28th. I told the preacher last sunday that I am not finding the answers in his church...I told him I did not want to be baptized...' We committed him to be baptized by someone holding the Priesthood authority on the 20th of June. He accepted. At the end of the lesson, we knelt in prayer. George asked the Lord if the message we shared was true. He thanked the Lord for the oppurtunity we had to meet. After the prayer we paused on our knees...the Spirit was amazing!...The Lord is preparing people! I'm so glad we found him!

I can't believe Jace is leaving. That is amazing. Easton is two?? haha I hope he has a good party. You better buy him a sweet tractor. Tell him I love him. It sounds like you'll be on the Road! Be safe please. Tell Taya and Ryan hello. I hope they are doing well.

I know that the only thing that keeps me going is my knowledge of the Savior. It is the love that I feel from Him each day! The reassurance that he knows me! That He has walked this same path! The work is going well. I've traveled the mission the past few days. From Notts to Kidderminster. You'll have to tell Steve that Elder Cox had Dinner with the Patriarch in Nottingham. He said to tell them hello. I tried to get over there but had no luck! I'll meet him one day. Man, the mission is successful, but I feel like an old man. I'm relying on the exercise to keep me excited. Sometimes I think we go so hard it kills us. Everytime I feel down or exhausted, I just look at how much the Lord has blessed us for the hard work. It sounds like your back in the AZ. You're looking at more property? Man--I give you a couple years and You'll be living down there. It sounds like you're having fun with the kids. You'll have to tell Taya and Ryan that I love them and miss them.(I miss the kids more) :) It is good for you to watch the princess movies.
I'm sure things are going good at home. Hopefully Mother's day wasn't too hectic. The mission is doing great. Church attendance last week was the highest in recorded history...same with investigators with a baptismal date. Every day seems as though we're fighting to keep our heads above water--but somehow we see success. The Lord is blessing the missionaries here. Dad--yesterday I gained a witness that the Book of Mormon was true. I thought I knew before--but I KNOW now. I was on exchange with Elder Reese in Coventry. In companionship study, we worked on short, powerful statements about the Book of Mormon. It's a four man flat---but we busted out the door with our bags full of BOMs and scattered...speaking to every living thing we could see! I don't think I've ever had so much fun. We didn't ask any questions to those we taught--we immediately testified of the Book of Mormon and read scriptures as we alternated bearing testimony. I think we gave out 20 Books of Mormon throughout the day. Man, its so powerful. I will never forget that experience we had. There are 12 souls coming to church through the efforts of 1 day. I know everyone we spoke with felt the Spirit...and even if they don't accept it. I DO! I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It is evidence that HE is unchanging! We are His children and He loves us! This is truly His work. I never want to leave it. I will live in the Moment. We will continue to see miracles in the Mission. Thanks for everything you do Dad. Sister cable send me a few of the photos as well. Jack is the man. I feel bad...He calls me every day at the office and alot of times I can't speak to him. I should get his number and you can chat with him. He would love it. For some reason he loves me.. He calls me his 'star'...I need to tell you the story sometime...the battle with his preacher:) Alice's mom is so nice. She sent me a huge bag of stuff. They are so sweet. Please write her mom!! I lost their address!!! I need to write them but I don't have it. I love that family. We are teaching the Rubery's daughter a bit. They are great. I'm sure she told you that the family we've been teaching got antied...man....we got dropped by everyone this past week. We will find some more to teach. Hi Everyone,

We heard from Alex Sunday Morning....he sounded GREAT! He actually even had a pretty good English Accent! He is doing amazing! He is happy, and a bit tired I believe! I don't think he has much time to rest! I think he is feeling the pressure of his companion leaving on June 10th and he will have to train a new AP and 3 weeks later there will be a new Mission President! He will have a huge responsibility to give the new MP much of the inside scoop as he only gets a few hours with the old President! I think he is somewhat stressed about it, but lets just say he won't be watching the the clock tick! He has alot to do! He is so happy! He is learning so much and I think this will help him so much in his future life! We are so proud of him. He would love to get a letter from any of you!!!!!!!

As you probably know, we had Zone Conference yesterday and your son did a great job teaching all of us once again. It always makes me so happy to see him. He has made exercising daily a goal so we will see how that goes. He looks great already, so it would not be any great loss if he doesn’t achieve that goal. But he is trying to set an example for the others.

Jack Kirby insisted on seeing him so had Paul Bettridge brings him to the Church. You have to hand it to Jack. He knows how to get what he wants and he was willing to go to the trouble to get all dressed up with a white shirt, tie and suit to meet with Elder Bearnson for a few minutes. I am amazed that Elder Bearnson was able to make even those few minutes available to him because he is in such high demand all the time in connection with these Zone Conferences.

Hey Mom--
Elder Cox is staying. I may need a loan to buy an engagement ring. You might as well call us a couple. Haha--6 months...but you know what. We're a team! And we both know we need each other:) Things are definately going to be busy in the next few months. The Moffats will be missed! But lets not talk about it mom!! We've got 2 Months for this mission to explode before he leaves! May is going to be crazy!!

You can't help with anything. Just pray for me--it seems like the mission is going to fall on my shoulders for a few weeks. No pressure. JK--we have great leaders--great missionaries and more importantly the Lord will bless us. Every day that passes I always wonder how its possible to accomplish so much. But this is truly the Lords work. He blesses his missionaries.
Carol had a bad week. She is still struggling with the smoking. Man--she's killin me. But I don't care. We will get her with the Lord's help. Mark my words! She will become a member of the Lord's church before I leave here. We are also working with the family. there should be about 9 investigators at church on sunday. We are just struggling to get them baptized! I hate not having baptisms!

I'm feeling great otherwise. I'm always washing my hands. Sister Moffat is doing a good job of babying us. She's great. You could send multivitamins? I am almost out.

Or should I say Ken the barbie? How are things?? It's summer now!! I can't believe you're in the AZ again. I'm glad you're taking a break though. How are things at home?? How is work?? Any cool cases?? I hope things are going good for you! The work in the mission is going well. Man, I feel like I'm getting old. I'm trying to balance myself in each aspect of the work. It will be six months in the office. And I'm likely to finish here. It's amazing how the Lord places you in situations that shape your life. I've definately realized that I am here for a reason. I still feel like a greenie--trying to drink from a fire hose. I am continuing to learn loads. The Lord continues to keep me humble as well. I love the Mission. Hi Mom,
How are you?? I'm glad sister Cable sent you some pics. I hope they were ok I don't know when she took them? The Cables are awesome! They baptize loads! They are loving it. The conference was pretty cool. Elder Ballard was escorted by Elder Oaks. They were both with their wives. It was awesome. They both gave amazing talks and Testimonies. The main message from Elder Ballard was "Become master teachers!" He said it about 100 times! Elder Oaks of the Seventy was a powerful speaker as well. The missionaries were all excited afterward! It was fun for everyone. After the conference we went to the Moffats and Had lunch with them. Elder Brower (E. Ballard's grandson) Elder Toolson(his companion) and Elder Cox and I joined the Ballard's/Oak's/Moffats at the Moffat's house. It was pretty cool. They are so down to earth! Elder Ballard is pretty quiet and didn't say too much. Elder Oaks just chats up a storm. He told loads of good missionary stories. Sister Ballard is probably the sweetest thing I've ever met. I love her! She is so happy--I never saw that smile leave her face. We got a picture with all of them. The Moffats will give me one and I'll send it. The best experience is when we were leaving the Moffat's to drive the Elder Oaks home. Elder Ballard shook our hands--He held on for a moment and looked into our eyes "Continue--keep working hard...You Elders help these missionaries become master teachers!" I asked the Oaks of they knew the Watterson's and they said that the Watterson's were staying at their home in Germany right now?? They seemed to know them pretty well. Yes, The Elder's in Swindon got beat up quite a bit. Its ok mom...chill! Yes, Carol is close to baptism...she smoked though! We had to push her date.. She is doing better and scheduled to be baptized on Saturday!! Pray for her...The toughest thing is the social aspect! Her deaf friends smoke and drink tea!!I Don't know anything about mothers Day yet....sorry. I will let you know as soon as I do! Elder Cox has 4 sisters and 1 brother. 2nd to youngest. His Dad owns C&C Improvement--He is a contractor. His mom is a school teacher. He played tennis. He's a computer genius. Think Grange.... He's awesome--I don't think he will leave....we're trying to get a read on President. But--he's a book without a cover. We won't know if Cox is going until later today or even monday.??
I hope I replied to all of your questions! The mission is doing great! Summer is coming! It has been beautiful!! I love it. The highlight of this week is Elder Ballard of course. It was an awesome experience. I have been writing in my journal almost every day! It has made me realize how much I have to be grateful for. I have been so blessed in so many ways. I know what true happiness is!!! And I know that I have found it through living the Gospel. Whenever I have a down day I try to remember what the Lord has done for me and what I have seen him do for others. There is nothing better than sharing the Gospel and seeing other people repent and change their lives! Nothing could bring more happiness! President Interviewed us yesterday...he said'Elders---no one can comprehend or even begin to understand the hard work you put into this mission. Sister Moffat and I are so grateful to you and your service..' I thought that was pretty cool..I don't believe we do as much as he credits. I guess the point is--if you work your hardest and put in every ounce you have--the Lord will make up the difference! We don't move forward with the work by our own talents and abilities...but only with the Lords help! I promise you mom... I have never worked so , in my entire life. I have never fought so hard to fly above the clouds even when it seems like everything around me is falling. I will continue. I will continue to repent and to change. You're back? I'm glad you're alive. Thanks for the pictures. It looks beautiful there. Sorry to hear about the monkey bite?? I bet it didn't hurt as bad as Mom's bite on your arm! Congrats on giving the BOM's away! good work. It was exciting to have Elder Ballard visit! I gave some more details in Mom's Email. Elder Oaks was interested in my name---He's the man. Fighter Pilot in Vietnam. I respect he and Elder Ballard. They and their wives are some of the hardest workers I've ever met! And I only spent a few hours in their presense. Carol is doing great-she struggled with smoking but we reset her date for the 2nd of May. I have a sign manual. I'm getting good. When you and Mom go deaf I will take care of you. It's good you talked to Debbie Glen and your other friends. Please tell Bower to get in line:) I hope they are all doing well.
As for school. I'm going to the U. I'm not necessarily going for the CPA. I want to get into financial management. I feel accounting will bless me throughout my life---it has blessed you. BYU has a Real Estate program in which you can obtain a Masters. I am going to be a developer. I want to work in that industry. I love it. The resources are there. I've got some buddies from the mission in the SLC area. apparently the institute at the U is great. Its central to everything. When the time arrives you and I can sit down and set some goals. I want your help. I will not go to USU--I will not stay in that valley. I'm running from anything that could slow my course. I may come back with my family but not until then. I may be a bit late starting school but I will catch up.
Thank you Dad. I am beginning to realize how blessed I have been. I hope you feel that you have influenced and shaped my life. I couldn't be more confident that you want what is best for me. I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you. Stay close to the Lord. I am busting every second I have. The work is moving forward. The bands slowing the work here in the EBM will continue to be broken! Records have been set this year! And it will continue! How are you?? I'm good! This week has without a doubt been the busiest week of my mission...wow. For reals I feel like an old man, I can't stay awake. Its been awesome though! I'm glad you heard from Clare--I love her she is great! I hope the kids had a good time at the Temple. We taught Sharon, Natalie, & Charlie at the Rubery's house just about an hour ago. Sister Rubery is busy I'm sure. She is so great though. She helps us more than any member of the Ward! I never hear her complain! Have you written Sister Cable?? They are loving the mission! Good for them---its good to see them at Zone Conferences!
Its a good thing that Dad and Braden are still alive. I hope they are having fun. Tell Dad to send me some pictures when he gets back! You and Cami are going to be together for quite a while?? haha I hope you are having fun! I can't believe you had lunch with Sister Ogden?? How did you do that??? haha I don't really know what to say. She will do great! I am excited for them. THey will love it. Thank you for the Easter Box. You are great. Of course I shared with Elder Cox! He was happy! It will continue to be busy the next few weeks. Elder Ballard come Tuesday! I'm pumped! Of course I will smile and be helpful. I hope I replied to everything in your email! I'll share a bit about the week! Monday we compiled Key Indicators and sent them off to SLC...we do that everyweek! Its usually a busy day! Tuesday we prepared for Elder Ballard and Interviews. Wednesday we headed to Cheltenham and Harborne for interviews. And Thursday we had more training at the interviews in Nottingham and Leicester.....Then we echanged with The Leicester Elders...Elder Glen and Elder Rawlings. They are both awesome...E. Glen's from Australia and probably the best missionary in the mission. It was fun to work with him...After That we exchanged with the B'ham Zone leaders...I went with Elder Gee. He's from London...Solid Elder!! We had a blast! I love the exchanges...I think I learn more than they do.....I hope you like the Travel Log.... I'll share with you a cool experience we had with Carol(who is getting baptized on the 25th!!!) We taught her the word of wisdom on Monday--its obviously difficult for deaf people to explain their feelings. She was way upset and we left the lesson thinking we had lost her. She told us that it wasn't fair that she couldn't drink tea! And she didn't want to stop! She told us she would try the replacement (caro) but wasn't making any promises. And she didn't want to stop smoking..she just wanted to 'cut down!' On Tuesday we went over with Bishop's wife who helps us with signing...we had the best lesson ever! I don't know what happened--but Carol changed!! She hadn't smoked or had any tea!! It was a miracle..Elder Cox and I were jumping up and down screaming and Carol was just quietly laughing at us. It was awesome. We retaught her the Restoration and she loved it...She explained that she felt God was speaking her heart...and that she didn't care about the tea or cigarettes anymore! It was the best lesson we've ever had with her. Man--you should see me sign as well. I might as well be a master signer. :) Anyways...at the end of the day. My testimony stands firm! This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ!! It is amazing! I will do everything I can to fulfill my duty and my calling to preach it!! I love this work. There is no where else I'd rather be!! Things are going well! My leper hand is looking better. It sounds like you're going to have a good time in Arizona Mom! Take care of Cami! Taya and Ryan are headed to Vegas?? That is going to be awesome when they live there! Have fun shopping and sitting by the pool...nerds. If you were cool--you'd be knocking doors and sharing the Gospel. Are Dad and Braden going to get this email?? I bet they're having so much fun! I am excited for Elder Ballard! But it is next week Mom! the 21st. Its crazy--they won't let us drive him at all....maybe its just because of my record though? haha jk. But we are sorting everything out! I am so excited...I've never met an Apostle. I'd love to tell him that I'm friends with the Watterson's...but he probably won't care! I didn't get to hear the last session with Gary! heard it was on Temples?? Sister Moffat is going to print it for me. Conference was amazing. I saw Sam, Claire and Bryony. I got a pic!! They are doing awesome--They're going to the Temple!! Sam has a Recent Convert girlfriend...and he is the Teacher's Quorum President. Bryony is so cute--and claire is just amazing. I miss them! I also saw Carol Bowen( a recent convert from Burton) I loved it. Carol(the deaf investigator) is doing awesome. She is struggling a bit with smoking...we are pushing her date another week so that she can stop. She loves the Gospel though. We are signing. I've learned quite a bit. I can hold a normal conversation with her. haha its so fun. I love it. The other family we are teaching is doing ok. They came to conference---They are pretty rough! But we will get them! They love us....I wish you could meet them. The husband is like Tres...just as Brinley--when he first spoke to me I almost cried:) He doesn't want to learn...but he has loads of respect for us. Its tough for us to find people right now. We've been on the road since Wednesday!! But we will get some new people! I'm happy and healthy! I got one package...but I have to pick up the other one on Tuesday. The mini PMG is seriously the coolest thing I've ever seen. Everyone asked where I got it from!! I love you! Thanks! Tell Todd Hello for me and that I love the kid. I hope he is doing well. The Apostle will be at the Chapel just outside the Office..Only the missionaries come to this conference. He is speaking in Coventry later on. I hope I covered all of your questions.... The week has been crazy..WE had zone conferences back to back and then exchanges back to back! I want to say I'm dead...But I think I'm just being a baby. I guess the biggest lesson I have learned this week is on pusuing my goals no matter what comes in my path. Alot of times I'm unsure of myself or my situation...I think sometimes its a lack of faith and confidence in myself. I've realized that the Lord doesn't care so much about us messing up or making mistakes. But more about the principles we learn along the way. I am striving to be more firm and steadfast in acheiving my goals and my purpose as a missionary. We can't waver with opposition and unsurety. If we set the goal--the Lord will get us there. For those of you who don't understand Missionary lingo, when Alex says Kill off an Elder that means, stay with them till they go home. Elder Cox leaves in June. the new Mission Pres. comes the first of July and Alex's release date is Sept. 2nd. I questioned him because I have heard through the grapevine that Elder Russell M Ballard is going to be in their Mission this month, I think the rumor is true....but he is sworn to secrecy haha. But he sounds very busy, but happy, I don't know how they will teach a deaf person but he seems to think it will happen....we will see! Love you all,

The week has gone well!!! It has been crazy, they recarpeted the flats so we spent a couple days moving. Time is flying...its kinda scary. I got the Knowles package. Please let them know how grateful I am!! The package was awesome and I loved the letters. The kids have grown so much. Each of them are amazing! Make sure you tell Brin I love her!! haha she is so sweet. Tell her goodluck at her dance review! And let them all know that I love them!We got the order on Tuesday. It was fine! Elder Metzner was the only missionary going home and he spent the night with us on Tuesday. He's from Germany...he's the man! I did get an envelope with pics of my nephews and nieces. Thank you. But I can't tell you mom......I guess you can figure it out.....He is coming on the 21st. I don't know if I'll kill Cox?? I hope so. Its going to be crazy either way. Training he new prez basically falls on my shoulders. Apparently they are instructed not to teach or walk you through anything. President told us that President Munday(former president) just showed him his home, office and gave him the keys. Nothing else! They have to figure it out! Most assistants have died in the office. But it would be 8 months which would be the longest stay that's ever happened. Who knows what will happen mom??

How has the week been?? The AP job is going great...As soon as I feel I'm riding high on the waters...the Lord always finds a good way to humble me..I love it. It's amazing to work with the missionaries, they are such good people. The hardest thing is to see some of them struggle face trials, but there is nothing more rewarding than to set some goals with them and see the change that occurs! I'm taking your advice and I'm doing my best to be a sponge. Thats awesome about the new mission president. Real Estate development... it may never get mentioned, but atleast its a connection to what I would love to do in the future. Its amazing how much the Lord prepares us today--for tomorrow. You said he has lots of energy?? I hope so, I don't think there is a greater asset to have as a missionary. I don't have much time. But I want to share an experience with you. Elder Cox and I have been struggling to find someone to teach. We found a short slot to find a couple days ago and I had one of the most amazing experiences come from it. As soon as we stepped foot on the street we ran down the first lady we saw(we tend to 'run down' alot of people, it's great, they're either terrified or excited...but they stop either way:)) I spoke to her but she gave no reply, we realized that she was deaf. But we showed her a picture of Christ and her face lit up. It was tough at first, but we were able to communicate with her using the literature we had. We set a return appointment and taught her last night. We practiced a few signs for our study, but i thought there was no way we were going to get through to her....boy was I wrong! We had the most spiritual lesson I have ever participated in. We taught and she understood. She asked questions and we were able to answer them using the Book of Mormon. She loved it. You can tell that she trusts the Lord...She was just beamin! The crazy thing is, I knew that she understood everything we taught, Brother Roberston was almost in tears, so were we. As we bore testimony I know that she felt the Spirit! It strengthened my testimony that they Lord loves all his children! and He will provide whatever means necessary to teach them the truth. I know that it is impossible to be converted by convincing or persuasion, but that it can only happen throught the Spirit! I am so grateful to have that knowledge! Its humbling to be reminded that we as missionaries have but little control over helping others come unto Christ! But that the Lord has the power to do anything!!! i will keep you updated on Carol!! SOOOOOOO..how are you?? Have you had a good week?? I'm feeling great!!Thanks for sending the info to Sister Moffat!! Mom, she is amazing!!! You should drop her a note and just say thanks!! She does so much. haha and she is always so happy and cheerful. I now understand why we need a 'mother' in the mission. The insurance should be fine. They took my old one before... I'm seeing the Doc on Wednesday. I am getting sick of my wretched hand...Granuloma annulare.......DODGEY. Lets just cut it off. The investigators are great!! Nobu is getting baptized at 6!!! I am so excited.. Brother Robertson is baptizing her..he is our WML. He's the man!! I didn't even think about seeing Clare and the kids. Everyone in Burton writes me emails but I can't write back!! I hope you stay in touch with Clare. haha She is great. You need to come and meet her!! (hint, hint, come and get me mom and dad) I need to sort out some of my recent converts. How did you know I'm in the same stake as Clare?? Thats scary... Mom....I am proud of you. I am happy and healthy. And I'm working my guts out but I love it... It's good to hear Kaden is doing well. India....I bet they baptize 100's...We'll get there...You can't do anything for me....except...maybe a letter. I get no love anymore. I guess its because I don't write anyone! Thats cool Elder Lee is going to BYUI. He is a good kid and was an amazing missionary. You know that he is friends with Cami's former best friend in Virginia???Lauren...Ask Cami. Mom....You are amazing!!! I love you!!! I'll give you a little run down of what we have been up to the past few weeks.. INTERVIEWS!!! we travel to each zone for interviews with President. While he interviews we train the missionaries for about 40 minutes. This transfer we hit object lessons. They are amazing! The missionaries each brought their favorite object lesson and demonstrated . Its amazing how it can help the investigators. We saw everything from magic tricks to flying T-bags, cups, etc. Object lessons are powerful!! We introduced the training with a few Scriptures in 3 Nephi 11...I'll share one with you...This is Christ's ultimate object lesson...Verses 15 'And it came to pass that the multitude went forth, and thrust their hands into his side, and did feel the prints of the nails in his hands and in his feet; and this they did do, going forth one by one until they had all gone forth, and did SEE with their eyes and did feel FEEL with their hands, and did KNOW of a surety and did bear record, that it was he, of whom it was written by the prophets, that should come.' That verse describes what the Savior Himself did as he taught!! He allowed his investigators to SEE and FEEL so that they could KNOW for a surety that HE was the CHRIST!! At the peak of His teaching, The Savior taught in parables. Using material things to unfold divine truths!!! I love it. It strengthened my testimony as we taught the missionaries during interviews. I can't imagine being among the Nephites at having that opportunity to be taught by the Savior. Man...I can feel the Spirit everytime I think about this scripture. I love teaching the missionaries!! I love being with them!! I guess the greatest object lesson I could give to them would be the example I am when I am with them. I always try to remember that! I'm by no means perfect! but I'm doing my best!!! I have to shoot!!! I love you MOM!!!

Thats awesome that Jace got his Call!! He leaves in June?? I can't believe how old he is...that is crazy. I'm sure he will do great with the Portuguese. I'm excited for him. I may get a chance to see Gary speak...I hope so, if not you can print it off and send it to me! I did get the DVD's you sent...I watch them on my portable dvd player every day.....:) I'm sorry mom, I haven't even opened them, I may give some to an investigator though! They will come in handy. I'm sorry to hear about the weather...It can't be that bad!! I'm sure you'll have fun in AZ. Tell Riley Congrats, I can't believe he is going to be a sophmore. I am getting old!. Things are going so well with Nobu....We taught her This morning and it was amazing!! I wish you could hear her pray. Mom, She is so humble. I would do anything for her. The family has changed. Nobu is opening up! I wish you could just see the changes that have occurred, I don't think there is anything more amazing. I'm so grateful for the Lord for allowing us to teach her. She is still set for the 14th. There is nothing you could do to help her! You could send her a gift. I wish I could just pay her mortgage for her. Sometimes she works straight for 48 hours. I've never heard any complaint from her. Just gratitude for the Lord. We have a freezer. There is nothing special we need. Thanks mom. I am happy. I am getting plenty of rest. The 'rash' is fine, it is not a rash. If you keep talking about it, it may spread and they could send me to a colony of Lepers. I hope so... You spoke with Sister Russells Mom?? haha, Sister Russell is cool. She's an amazing missionary. Her planner is better than most of the Elders. AND she is baptizing Paula...the Zone Leaders couldn't resolve her concerns, but the Sisters pulled through! Good for them! Well...My entire email has been answering questions.........It's just there is not time for a spiritual experience. My fingers are tired...JK Mom. I will tell you one thing that I learned this week! Unity--in all aspects...From the Church as a whole to missionary companionships...( No Mom--Elder Cox and I get along great.) I'm speaking more upon the lines of 'lifting where you stand' and doing it together! It seems many a times the ward and the mission are battling one another rather than battling Satan and the rest of the world. They don't want to baptize on Saturday, We baptize too fast, 'it took me six months', the missionaries are pushy...blah blah blah. The area Seventy seem to be cracking down a bit. There is a push for working together as a unit in the church. We met with the Ward leaders last week. You should have heard them! It was amazing, they were setting goals for baptisms. We're having 40 day fasts for the work. Members are being challenged to invite someone to receive the lessons!! Bishop came teaching with us last night....(haha, you may not have known about the disunity..sorry) But over all the work is seeing a change for the better and the Lord is pleased!! Mom, in almost every area I've been blessed to serve I have had the oppurtunity to baptize a Part-Member family. I never really thought about that...but it is completing the families!! We applied it into the action points!! And Part Member baptisms have been popping all over!! The

Area Seventy is meeting with the Stake President's and they are actually tracking down every part-member family in the area! And the wards are putting a big push on it... I hope we've set a trend. I can't imagine how pleased the Lord would be if we could bring these families together. We have seen miracles!! Sister Rubery was speaking to us at the door the other day...we were just checking on Zach and the family...She just started crying....'Thank you so much, I never told you that you were an answer to my prayers that night you came around. Every time you've come into the home you've brought the spirit....my kids have changed...My family is closer...I can't thank you enough...' Man..I almost started crying. Its amazing to see the change in these families. The influence that the Gospel has on them is immeasurable. I've never had so many ups and downs as I have had here in Wylde Green. But I've never felt the Spirit manifest so strongly that this is the Lord's work. I LOVE IT. Thanks for all that you do mom!! I Love You!! Have a good week! Be safe in AZ.

"Mom & Dad:

How was the Pic at Zone Conference?? My hand is fine. I will get into the Dermatologist by next week! I have steroid cream. Its not fungal. eww. I am taking my multivitamin. I'm not pale...I'm in England! Give me a break. I haven't seen the sun since the Plane ride over....Mom--I'm supposed to be wasting and wearing away my life:) I'm fine. I didn't get a chance to take pictures with the missionaries. It is impossible. I decided I can do it on exchanges. I did write a few of them some notes letting them know I looked up to them. I will do my best to take the pictures though. I have seen Elder White alot recently. He is actually in Notts. I will send him a Note to look out for the Patriarch. That is awesome about Steve. I will be headed up there in a week or so. I'll pop around and say hello if I can! NOBU is projected for baptism!! That is Rumbi's Mother. It has taken us ages!! But we've got the ward on our side and it's amazing to see the change in her. She will be baptized on the 14 of March!! I am pumped!! I love Nobu! She has struggled to get work of on Sundays. We challenged her to take a step of faith and the Lord will provide for her....Her husband left her. She works everyday to support the kids. We found out that she was eliminating her lunch and Dinner breaks throughout the week so that she could drive Rumbi and Emmanuel to church each sunday. She has to work overtime now. And she continues to tell us there is no way she can pay the Mortgage. But she trusts the Lord...I love her. She is so humble. I hope you can meet her one day. Its amazing to see the changes she has made. We are working with a couple others but we haven't had time to find in our area this week. We are working hard elsewhere. The Lord will continue to provide. Let me know about Jace! How are the kids?? It sounds like Nixon is scared of Dad?? I will toughen him up....JK. I was never sensative... I think you are both getting old?? Just think of all the ancient prophets...You can still perform miracles:) Take a break, Go to mexico and chill out. I'm sure both of you are just working your guts out. How is the PMG going?? I hope you are studying!
Enough with the jibberish. Things are going well. There are too many stories to tell. I hope you save these emails....they're about all that I have. I know I need to enjoy the moment, smell the roses, etc; But I'll do that when I hit 80 years old. As for now...we're seizing the day:) This is the Lord's work. I don't have much longer. I will fulfull my calling with all of my heart, might, mind and strength!! Then when I look back, the roses will smell much sweeter! These memories can't be lost mom, don't worry! It has been a crazy week. Transfers went well!! We had 11 new missionaries come in. Oh man, I loved it! It made me so excited just to see them and speak with them. They will be great. Thats crazy you know who the mission President is. They haven't told us yet.... maybe we will get some more info on him. How is the baby?? I bet he's cute. Make sure you tell Taya and Ryan congrats!!
I got the box!! Thank you! It's a pretty sweet tie. Who is elder Liu?? Is he the Chinese?? I got the Tesco!! Thanks so much!! No problems. We made some cookies! I am taking vitamins! Thank you! No sore throat. I feel good!! I bought a new suit and some shoes!! We are teaching another Part Member named Zach!! He will be baptized on the 21st!! Its crazy, He's been coming to church of 8 years.....but he has ADHD. Everyone told the mom(kerry Rubery) that he couldn't be baptized because he wasn't able to understand! Elder Cox and I went over and explained how we could teach Zach and help to to baptism. She was so happy! Her husband is less active, so we're helping him as well. Its fun to teach the kids! The Gospel really is so simple.
How is Clare?? Tell her hello for me. I may pop in there in a few weeks. Burton isn't very far. My buddy Elder Blackwood will take care of her. The ward has a bit of a load, I hope they're helping out.
I hope you are having fun in Pheonix!! Tell all of the kids hi for me and that I love them!! Mom you are amazing!! Did you get my pics?? I hope so!!! Let me know!!!
The departing missionaries had a fire side on Tuesday night. President spoke about life and what it's going to be like going home. Oh man...i don't ever want to come home. Everyone bore their testimonies at the end. President asked us to bear ours. There Spirit was already so strong! But I don't think that I have ever spoken so clear and distinctly. I just want to add to the testimony I bore!! I know that we can go anywhere and do anything with the Lord's help. It doesn't matter our circumstances! It doesn't matter where we start! only where we end up. The Gospel is simple. It brings happiness and blessings! All we need to do is keep the covenants we have made at Baptism and in the Temple. The only thing that can hinder us from success in this life is ourselves. We don't need to worry about outwitting others if we can control ourselves!! The Lord has shown us the way. We just need to make the decision to follow!! Mom, I know that this is the Gospel of Jesus Christ!! I wish I could express how strongly I feel about it. Trust the Lord. He will always deliver. Wow--Please let Gary know how grateful I am for writing the ecclesiastical letter. I can't imagine how busy he is. I hear that the 70's are the 'workhorses' of the Chuch. I'm sure he is fit for that role. Make sure to let him know that I love and respect he and his family. I'm sure they are doing well and I bet Brett is excelling in the mission field.
Thanks for sorting out the BYU application. I hope you received President Moffat's letter. I'm sure that you are busy with work. I am grateful for everything that you have done for me Dad. I wish I could repay you! I will one day.
I'm Glad the baby is ok. I'm sure Taya fought through it. What a warrior...did she go with no meds this time?? JK Taya don't flatter yourself...you're still a wuss. I don't know if I caught the babies name?
I will share some recent experiences in Mom's Letter;as for now, I want to share a few thoughts with the family....
I hope everyone is well at home. I miss you all! Please don't ever forget what is most important in your lives. First the Lord, and then your family. We are so lucky to have been raised in the church. We are blessed beyond measure!! The Gospel is amazing. I want each of you to know that I know My Redeemer lives. I know that if we live His teachings we can and will be happy. There is no other way! Sometimes I wish each of you could spend a day with me in the mission field! I would show you the time of your life!! I wish you could experience the things I get to every single day. I have never had so many lows, but I've never seen so many highs! I think after everybody reads Alex's letters they will feel like they need to set a goal to study their Preach My Gospel, I have been bugging him to send me the instructions on how to get started doing it properly.....so I am going to try to get the job done, it is a huge under taking but from what I understand from some of the others in his Mission, it is amazing, and it obviously works, so maybe Jace and some of you out there should sharpen your colored pencils along with me and we can mark our PMG's, I don't have much time if I am going to get it done before he gets home! I received a copy of Gary's letter. Thank you for submitting the application! It sounds like you're getting sick of winter? Take Mom skiing, I' sure she'll have a blast:)! I'm glad you got my pictures. There are loads of videos as well, but I will have to keep them on the camera cards because I can't download them safely. Thanks for the pic of the Kids. Oh man, they are beautiful. I love them. What is Taya feeding Ezra?? haha, I love you Taya. The kids are amazing. They're blessed to have a good family.
I'm feeling great! I can hide behind my words a bit, I am more beat than I say. Since Larry's letter I have been getting up early every morning. Its amazing though, I feel more dedicated to the work and can accomplish more in the day. The work is amazing. Every time we are hitting a low the Lord seems to boost us. I've never worked and prayed so hard. It is difficult to gather my thoughts at the end of the day.
Dad, this is truly the Lord's work. I say that in every email. But if you could just witness the miracles taking place. The Lord has poured out His spirit. The mission is breaking records. I'm of the opinion that it's because the missionaries are becoming more and more dedicated to the LORD. They are beginning to recognize their purpose. We have recently focused on goal setting in PMG. You need to have a study of that.(pp.146)This is one of my favorite pages in PMG. When we think of goals, I think mainly on a personal level. However, PMG states what our focus should be.
"The ultimate measure of success is not in achieving goals alone but in the service you render and the progress of others. Goals are a means of helping you bring about much good among Heavenly Father's Children."

How do we accomplish this?? We center our goals around living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have realized than being a successful missionary entails more than knowing the doctorine and obtaining good commiting skills! As I have set goals to increase my Faith, Repent daily, keep covenants, and follow the commandments; the Lord has blessed me! If I change my focus. I fail.
I love the Gospel. I love my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that they have set goals and made plans for us! That goal is for their children to obtain immortality and eternal life! Their plan is outlined in living the Gospel. As we follow it more closely, we begin to see our purpose and begin to align our goals with theirs.
The gratitude I feel in serving the Lord and living the Gospel is immeasurable! There is no place I'd rather be. Living the principles of the Gospel is amazing--watching others learn and begin to live the Gospel is a miracle. I love you Dad, I hope you know how much I look up to you. When I was younger, you used to have a meeting with each of the kids every year. You asked us what our goals were. I always brushed that off, "goals, who needs goals!" But now I realize the brilliance behind it. Whatever I decide to do in life(it being a righteous desire), I will be the best at it. And I will acheive this through setting goals and making plans with my Heavenly Father.

2-Buy:13 different color highlighters
3-Start at the beginning! Highlight every scripture reference. With the color of the chapter heading.
Its easy!! tedious! But you will learn. I mentioned in dad's email about setting goals. Before you start you need to turn to page 146 and set goals for your study. THEN as you review your goals and plans, Turn to the top of page 147 and make sure that you can answer all of the questions in the Activity Box!:) If you don't set goals you will never do it Mommy. I think you and Dad should have a companion study every day...Are you going to the Temple??? If not you're in trouble...make it fun. go to Salt Lake, go to the new Temples in Idaho!

I'm glad you're sitting next to the pool....cheers for that one... haha jk. There is about 4 inches of snow. Oh man, they're closing some churches in Wales. It's funny. We haven't traveled much this week. We have been pushing through transfers. I don't know where to start. We do so much in the week. You need to do the question and answer thing that you used to do. If you want me to tell you about experiences you need to let me smell the roses mom! I'm glad you talked to Sister Russells mom. She is an amazing missionary. We don't get to work with her but we see here quite a bit! I'm glad Kaden is doing well. Thats awesome he is so happy!!! I'm sure he is working hard! I wish we had some monkeys, all we get is sheep. Why did you have Surgery on your hip?? Thats only for oldies. Whats going on mom?? I'm worried. I'm glad sister cable sends you pics. Norland was supposed to be baptised when we were there! But he was in London. I'm sad I missed it. Syr is poor....I love him I have gave him some money before. We used to bring him Food. You need to keep in Mind that he is the only African in the Ward! And now we have Norland!! He could use some help. Grandma sent me some money, I will give it to him when I get to Cardiff!Phyllis got your package. She gave me a big kiss on the cheek...Child of God.....I love her! But not her kisses. If you write her a letter she will write you back. Maybe you could even call her, she'd love it. How is AZ?? You need to take some pics of Taya...is she really round??? :)Don't tell her I said that...I'm doing great. We did get dumped on with snow. You should see some of the English people, they don't know what to do with themselves. Everything is shut down. Despite the weather, the mission had a great week! We acheived record high church attendance! The Lord is blessing us beyond measure. Last week we were blessed with the Baptism of Rumbi. The service was great. I'll be sending some pictures. You'll have to tell Trevi and the Family I love them!! Goodluck with the Baby. Let Taya know she'll be in my prayers.Its crazy that the Fell's know the Cambell's. I was almost in tears when he was bearing his testimony. I'm not so worried about Jessie and Eric; just those who they left behind. I wish I could help out Brock. If you see him, take a moment to put your arm around him. Let him know I love him.
As far as BYU goes, I gave the Ecclesiastical letter to President yesterday. I've been a sissy about it. I feel bad throwing another task on his shoulders. If you email him, please express gratitude...I'm sure you will anyway.I'm busy, but never content. I love it. I don't think I could be happier. I love this work. I love these missionaries I'm blessed to serve. And more importantly, I love my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. It truly is His work. I know that if we rely upon Him in everything that we do, we will be blessed! He will prosper us. I'm trying to focus more on trusting the Lord! Having confidence, that through him, I will be able to acheive great things!!Thanks for all that you Do Dad. You're amazing. I'm glad your studying Preach My Gospel. If you're struggling to focus on all of the content, try the boxes. I will do a box a day for the rest of my life:) PMG is amazing, I have testimony that it truly is scripture. I cherish my PMG!
